Why am I here (at the Linguistics University of Nizhny Novgorod)?

Hello, my name is Elena and I am a student of the Linguistics University of Nizhny Novgorod. To my mind, it is very interesting to know why teenagers choose this or that college, that is why I decided to start my blog with the story of my choice.

Until recently, I was a pupil of School number 1 with in-depth study of English and almost every day had this subject. For some of my classmates learning English was very boring and useless occupation but I did not belong to them. I always believed that knowledge of foreign languages gives many opportunities. For example, communication with people from different parts of the world, admission to a foreign cultures. Moreover, it is very important in policy, especially when diplomats try to reach common decision, during the talks. This is a reason why I chose the faculty of international Relations.

Further, I started looking for information about universities on web sites and there were a lot of positive comments about the Linguistics University of Nizhny Novgorod. After visiting this university and taking part in some events, I was inspired by atmosphere that prevailed here. Communication with students convinced me that this university is the best place to study. Now I am a student and I am absolutely happy about it.
